THE LEGACY LOUNGE is a dynamic In Conversation honouring the legacy and achievements of Black Canadians. The series features in-depth conversations with a new group of Black Academy honourees, highlighting their contributions to society and the legacies they are creating.
THE LEGACY AWARDS celebrates the remarkable contributions of both iconic and emerging Black Canadian talent. Recognition is determined by the expertise of an Advisory Committee composed of industry leaders in music, film, TV, and pop culture.
THE B.L.A.C.K BALL connects specifically diverse talent to the industry in an effort to cultivate mutually beneficial relationships between future talent and the current titans.
We acknowledge the land we are meeting on is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
