Audio Technician Participants receive highly specialized professional, real-world on-set training, and/or familiarization on The Legacy Awards.

Embedded in Insight’s Business & Legal Affairs department, the Business Affairs Coordinator Trainee will work in a fast-paced environment on a variety of shows across multiple genres. The focus is on in-depth, hands-on training in all aspects of the business side of television, leading up to, on and following The Legacy Awards.

The Camera Operator Trainee will gain experience in the world of media production with hands-on learning and mentorship to develop the skills necessary for a successful career in camera operation and television production. As a trainee, you will shadow seasoned professionals to learn the fundamentals of camera operation and live television broadcasting. This role offers a dynamic learning environment, allowing you to assist in the production of diverse event content for live broadcast. If you have a passion for visual storytelling and are eager to launch your career in the world of media, this is the position for you.

The Multi-Cam Director Participant shadows an experienced Multi-Cam Director on the prep and production of The Legacy Awards, gaining strong technical knowledge of camera operation, framing, and visual storytelling through the use of multiple camera angles, shots and transitions.

The Assistant Editor is the right-hand and go-to for the Editor on a show. The Assistant Editor Trainee will learn the fundamentals and skills necessary to excel as an Assistant Editor, including footage ingestion, metadata tagging, editing, troubleshooting, and media organization.

The Editor Participant receives hands-on training and real-world experience in both the technical and creative aspects of the editorial process and learns best editing practices while working on The Legacy Awards.

The Associate Story Producer Trainee will work closely with the writing and post production teams. Focusing on telling the stories of award recipients, storytelling spotlights and assisting with the preparation of paper edits.

The Associate Talent Producer Participant gains first-hand experience in and a knowledge of how to connect with agents, management, labels, etc. to secure talent. They also work with the Show Producers and talent representatives to confirm talent needs and requirements in advance of, and on show day, including wardrobe, travel, script writing, dressing room requirements and more.

The Wardrobe Assistant Participant combines a love of fashion and design with film and television. Whether it’s a feature film, drama, reality show, or awards presentation, wardrobe tells the visual story of any production. Working under The Legacy Awards’ Head of Wardrobe, this Participant receives valuable training in areas such as design, buying, fitting and preparation of wardrobe for camera.

The Participant works alongside seasoned Producers, Story Producers/Writers and Writers on The Legacy Awards, taking part in writer meetings, researching, and contributing to the writing of tribute packs, presenter speeches, and other script content as required/directed.
